Marfa Lights Studio is looking for a Video Content Creative Director to lead the creation of video content for live events — from concerts and conferences to TV and theater productions.
In this role, you’ll shape storylines and visual concepts, guide the team from idea to execution, and ensure that every piece of content aligns with the event’s artistic vision. You’ll collaborate with lighting and stage designers, supervise content production, and occasionally jump into After Effects for quick hands-on tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction for video content in live events.
- Develop storylines, visual concepts, moodboards, and scripts.
- Oversee the full production process, coordinate tasks, and review content at every stage.
- Collaborate with stage and lighting teams for seamless integration.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in creative direction, video, or motion graphics.
- Strong skills in concept development, moodboards, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro or similar motion graphics software (3D skills a plus but not required).
- Ability to lead creative projects, oversee production and communicate effectively.
