The concept for Vaidas Baumila’s Midsummer Night Concert in Klaipėda centered around the symbolism of the circle—a universal representation of unity, continuity, and the cyclical nature of midsummer celebrations. The stage featured a glowing circular light installation as the focal point, symbolizing the sun at its peak and the eternal rhythm of nature. This was complemented by vertical lighting structures resembling modern bonfires, blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics. The bold red and amber tones evoked the warmth, passion, and energy of midsummer, while cooler hues created moments of calm and intimacy. Together, the stage and lighting design transformed the concert into a dynamic, immersive experience, seamlessly uniting music, light, and the spirit of midsummer.
